I woke up thinking of you

The feel of your skin against my skin

The touch of your lips on my lips

The hold of your hand on my hand

The warmth of your body around mine

I woke up wishing that you are here,

Next to me, cradling my head with your strong arms

Tangling your legs to mine

And we have our body intertwined,

… Like branches of centuries old trees timelessly bound to each other, where one will cease to exist when the other one goes.

I woke up missing you

Longing for your presence

To see your smile,

With my fingertips running through your beautiful face, trying to memorize each curves and turns and keep it safely in my mind

I woke up thinking of you

Because I just won’t do with otherwise.
